Unlike a standard bedside lamp, this mood lamp is built to be both a light source and a piece of art, with a hand-finished wood base and a glowing paper shade that brings a calming atmosphere to any space.
Hand-Finished Wood Base
Each lamp base is distressed and finished with a protective poly coating, giving it a warm, weathered look that fits both modern and rustic decor styles. The sturdy wood construction is built to last, making this more than just a decorative accent lamp, it's a lasting piece for your home.
Glowing Archival Paper Shade
The shade is made from textured archival paper and printed with archival inks in a bold, painterly stripe pattern blending rich rust, gold, green, and teal tones with a hand-brushed, textured feel. This isn't a printed lampshade that fades over time; archival inks are designed to hold their color for a lifetime, so the design stays vibrant year after year. As the lamp is lit, the translucent paper shade glows gently, casting a warm, earthy light through the striped pattern for a soft, ambient effect rather than harsh, direct lighting.
Open-Top Design for Ambient Light
Unlike a traditional lamp with a closed top, the Rough Stripes Mood Lamp features an open top that allows light to spill upward as well as glow through the sides. This creates a layered, ambient lighting effect that's ideal for a living room console, a home office, or any space where you want mood lighting rather than bright, direct light.
A Thoughtful Gift for Any Occasion
The Rough Stripes Mood Lamp makes a unique housewarming gift, an earthy birthday present, or a warm addition to any room in the home. Its bold, hand-brushed stripe design makes it a versatile accent piece that fits nearly any home style, from bohemian to rustic to modern decor.
